Aung San Suu Kyi is a remarkable woman, having dedicated her life to the struggle for peace, democracy, and human rights in Burma. She is a testament to what women can achieve and the power of conviction. In 1991 she recieved the Nobel Peace Price for her non-violent struggle for democracy and human rights.
